This costume is Princess Anima from The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer. I based my design off the manga artwork since there is not currently an anime for the series.

Construction:
The halo is made of two pieces of foam-board that was covered quite lovingly with papier-mâché (I actually hate papier-mâché) and then painted with Jaquard gold paint. The Earth and moon were made of foam covered in model magic and painted with acrylics. They were attached using wire that was glued between the foam-board. After all the parts were assembled it was covered in a layer of clear acrylic spray paint to seal it. It is attached to my head using wires and a head-band (contact me for more specific details!).

The wig is two wigs I bought off of ebay and used tutorials on frenkensteining them to put them together (similar to Nia or Sheryl tutorials).

The dress was made of a white 96% cotton 4% spandex mix so that I could dye it blue on the ends. The dye is my first attempt at a gradient and it came out pretty well I think! The blue and green details of the costume are cotton quilters fabric and ric-rac respectively. It was one of the toughest parts of the entire costume. The jagged ends of the dress and sleeves were sealed using clear nail polish, which also prevented the fabric from "rolling" (which knits tend to do sometimes).

The purple "panties" were made of the same dance material as the dress so that I could dye the fabric.

The stockings are from SockDreams and the shoes were ordered online from Target.

Again, if you have any more specific questions for any parts of the costume please send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
